Let me tell you something about this screencap. But in order to do that we have to revisit “Jade Dumps Beck”. In that episode Tori was the only person that Jade went to for help. She cried in front of Tori.. and not just for the reasons she said. She let her guard down for Tori, her false brovado, and you want to know why? Because Jade, much to her dismay, really believed that the only person who could make it better was Tori. She begged Tori to talk to Beck and that maybe he would see reason and listen to the pretty brunette. Although in the end they both worked together and hatched a weird plan to win him back, Tori knows it’s going to be different this time around. Having witnessed how Jade reacted to the previous breakup, she KNEW Jade would be hurting deeply. The look on Tori’s face right here folks is none other than concern. That concern is aimed at someone that Tori has tried numerous attempts to befriend. Someone that has belittled Tori at every chance and loves to see her fail. But Tori Vega is exactly the opposite. Whether she likes it or not, she knows Jade’s weakness. That weakness is Beck not loving her. The only insecurity Jade has ever shown towards Tori is what she would do if Beck left her for someone better looking or more talented. This insecurity is something that Tori knows she could destroy Jade with given the chance. But then when Jade counted to ten and realised Beck wasn’t coming out, Tori knew in that moment exactly what Jade was feeling. She had seen it all before. But with this one lingering look you see that no matter how many times Jade has made her feel inadequate and useless, she could never do the same to Jade.
